Job Description
We are London based practice has been established for over 12 years and providing accountancy services to small business now planning to open branch office in Teesside, Middlesbrough and we are moving to Accounting Tech Firm.
Responsibilities Include:
- Manage the day-to-day activities of the company.
- Reviewing accounts and tax return documentation prepared by junior staff.
- Managing the practice workload, resources, and established team of junior staff, to ensure timely delivery of work to a consistent standard.
- Mentoring and leading the staff, setting staff objectives, and overseeing the company’s internal procedures
- Practice performance management and reporting to group.
- Review, update and apply company-wide working procedures.
- Manage the strategic development and direction of the practice.
- Strive for quality and excellence in your work and International experience
- The Successful Applicant
- Qualified accountant – ideally ACCA or CPA/ CIMA / Part Qualified with5 years’ experience
- Proven technical accounting skills and Staff management.
- General UK tax, VAT returns and accounting experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Have an eye for detail and accuracy with figures.
- Strong IT skills
What’s on Offer
- Salary: expected £25 – £32k plus bonus
- Employer pension contribution of 3%
- Hours: 37.5hrs per week – Flexible working with a mix of home and office working
- Holidays 28 days per annum
